What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address, a username, a date of birth for age verification, and a hashed password. When you make a purchase, our payment processor handles card details directly. We never see your full card number. During calls, we collect basic technical metadata such as duration and quality metrics. We do not record the audio or video of private calls.
How we use it
Account data is used to authenticate you and to enable platform features. Technical metadata is used to debug and improve call quality. We send transactional emails about your account and purchases. Marketing emails are opt-in only.
What we never share
We never sell user data. We never share your identity with hosts beyond your chosen username. Hosts cannot see your email, your real name, or your billing details. Other users cannot see your activity.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use a small set of analytics cookies to understand site traffic in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences from your account settings.
Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to export it, and to request deletion. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by emailing privacy@privemoi.com. We respond to all requests within thirty days.
Service providers and sub-processors
We share limited personal data with the following providers strictly to operate the service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Railway — backend application hosting.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- LiveKit — real-time audio and video for calls and live streams.
- NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing for coin purchases.
- Veriff — identity and age verification for hosts.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications.
- Resend — transactional email.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Google — sign-in (OAuth) and text translation.
Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its part of the service. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by law and payment-network rules after closure, including identity-verification and content-compliance records where retention is legally required. Illegal-content reports and related records are preserved for at least one year, or longer where required by law.
Children
Privé Moi is an adult platform. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a minor has accessed the service, contact us immediately and we will remove the account and any related data.
